I once had someone complain to me on facebook that they didn’t like the fact that I sometimes tell people about the courses that I’m running or events which I come across that others might like. That’s fine, de-friend me, that way I don’t have to worry about offending you was my reply.

I was just reading a book by  Robert Allen & Mark Victor Hansen & there's an extract from Sir Richard Branson’s book Screw It, Let’s Do It. Richard says:

“I have spent much of my life being happy about promoting myself and Virgin. Advertising, publicity, promotion – call it what you will – works. Even nature puts on a show – flowers, birds, even beetles display themselves. There is so much competition in the world that if you have something to sell, no matter what, you have to get it noticed. Those early days of hard sell were to stand me in good stead. I learned we all have something to sell whether it’s a tangible object like a car or a box of Girl Scout cookies or offering talents for hire. It’s no use producing goods or having the best ideas in the Universe if they just stay in your head or stacked up in a corner in your bedroom.”

I have noticed recently that one of the biggest issues many of my clients seem to be facing is that of Procrastination.  However, it is rarely the reason why the call me, it is usually couched in things such as:

"I want to write but feel blocked."  

"I know I'm not meeting my potential."  

"I've attended courses, read books, yet still nothing seems to really work in moving me forwards."  

"I feel as though I'm living on a hamster’s wheel and repeating the same old patterns."  

"I want more clarity and direction in my life."

None of those presenting problems seem to have much to do with Procrastination, yet it's consistently been one of the things at the heart of the issue as we get into establishing the root cause of what is going on for them.

Many people have never really assessed the true cost of constantly putting things off.  The stress, constant worry, the nagging feelings of what you 'should' be doing, not the mention the financial costs.

Given that the 'P' word keeps popping up again and again I have finally gotten round to (excuse the pun) setting up an event to tackle the issue. 

There will be a FREE Teleseminar on Friday 21st October at 7.30pm to get the ball rolling and share with you ideas and tools that you can put into action straight away.  There is a also a 1-Day Live Seminar on Saturday 19th November 2011 for those that want to tackle the issue once and for all and ensure that 2012 gets off to a great start.

For many people the worry, guilt and constantly having your must do, should do, could do list hanging over your head or at the back of your mind takes up far more physical and emotional energy than the actual task itself.  Yet despite this obvious imbalance, it still isn't enough motivation to get the task done.

This isn't your typical 'smile and nod and theorise that it all seems to make sense' kind of event.  What we will do on the day is to have you tackle at least 2 of your biggest blocks right then and there.  You don't have to share with the group exactly what that is, however you will be taking immediate action to move forwards regardless.  More will be explained in the joining instructions, but suffice to say by the end of the day you will leave with:
